Spinach in cream sauce
 
Ingredients
for 2 persons:
- 200 ml of Sweet cream with 35 % milk fat; 0.25 l
- salt, pepper
- finely chopped spinach
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon Butter; 250 g
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- other spices according to taste
- 100 ml of Alpine milk with 3.5 % milk fat; 1 l
 
Melt a tablespoon of butter in a saucepan, add onion rings; when they turn yellow, add a tablespoon of flour and stir well. Add chopped spinach, salt, pepper, 100 ml of Alpine milk and 200 ml of sweet cream. Stir thoroughly and leave to simmer slowly for about 15 minutes.
The sauce goes well with potatoes, rice or pasta. Enjoy!
