Policy of quality, ensuring product safety and environmental protection
In the Ljubljanske mlekarne company, we employ an integrated management system, within which the systems of quality management, the system of ensuring food safety, and the system of environmental protection are implemented complementary to one another. In the strategic plan of the company (for the period from 2008 to 2012), we stated that we wish to be an innovative and successful international company, and defined our mission:
With knowledge, experience and innovation we change milk and other gifts of nature into fresh and savoury products for the health and enjoyment of all generations.
Our vision is to remain the best in Slovenia and become a highly visible provider of dairy and other products in Europe as well.
We are a consumer-oriented team of creative, motivated and responsible co-workers. With our expertise and dedication we create safe, innovative, natural, high-quality products, coupled with effective and quality services. With these, we create and satisfy the needs and expectations of our owners, consumers, customers and suppliers, while making sure to provide our employees with a creative working environment. The company Ljubljanske mlekarne will continue to evolve into a technologically modern, profitable and ecologically aware company. The care for the quality and safety of products and processes and the protection of the environment is one of the basic duties and responsibilities of all our employees, and a constituent part of the company management strategy.
Our strategic goals of quality, safety, and environmental care are:
- an internationally competitive standard of quality and safety of our products and services,
- satisfaction of our owners, customers and end-user consumers,
- environmental awareness through control of all important environmental aspects
- and compliance with statutory requirements.
We pledge ourselves to:
- ensure the production of safe foodstuffs while treating the environment in a responsible manner, with due consideration given to the existing legislation, expert standards and the principle of permanent development,
- with the provided work circumstances and the competency of our employees ensure developmental, production, control and service procedures for managing production and sales processes,
- plan specific measurable goals as a constituent part of the Economic plan of the public limited company, and assess their fulfilment,
- examine and take into account the opinions of customers and consumers,
- plan and introduce new technologies and products in accordance with environmental protection principles,
- educate employees and contractors that conduct processes for Ljubljanske mlekarne or on behalf of Ljubljanske mlekarne in regard to environmental responsibility,
- cooperate with interested internal and external public entities,
- maintain care to decrease the amount of generated waste and strive towards rational use of energy feedstocks.
